Loyola School, Jamshedpur, was promoted in 1947 by the Society of Savior, a Roman Catholic religious sect supported by St. bishop Ignatius of Loyola in 1540. It is a day school with regarding 3200 students from preschool to grade 12. It is in hand and managed by Loyola Jamshedpur, a registered society that constitutes college administration.

It is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. It offers Arts, Science and Commerce from class 11. The locution of the college is "In Cartitate et Justitia" (In Love and Justice).
