Indus World School, Ludhiana was established in the year 2012 and is being operated by a non-profit trust, Nalanda Foundation, registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1982. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and has English as its medium of instruction. A written test after registration will be followed by an interactive session with the candidate and guardian.

Upon being qualified in the test, the required documents have to be submitted to the school, based on which the admission will be granted.
