Dr P. R. Wasson (1923-2002) founded Mohan Vidya Mandir Management Society in 1960 and under this trust, he started Mohan Vidya Mandir co-educational School up to class 8. It was one of the greatest aspirations in his life to serve the people of his locality by imparting knowledge, and he chose to devote and dedicate his entire life to the cause of educating others. He never cared much for materialistic comforts, whatever he earned, he contributed for the betterment of the educational institutions. This struggle finally led the school to flourish and prosper, which in turn, led to the establishment of two separate schools for boys and girls. Discipline and excellence in academics are the key features in the institution. The school campus covers 1.80 acres and provides facilities like a swimming pool, music room, transport buses, gymnasium and library. The school holds very informative and reflective assemblies on topics that require students' attention. Various competitions, concerts, celebrations, activities, parties, exhibitions and campaigns are also held throughout the year. The institution aims to provide holistic development for students. After the death of Dr P. R. Wasson, Dr Garima Chopra and Mr Karam Chopra have stepped forward with their constant and effective efforts to lead the school forward and give all the children a better future.
