Dav Haridwar is a renowned name in the field of education in Haridwar. DAV Managing society has set up branches all over India, and all the schools under the umbrella follow the principles of the Arya Samaj with the adage, "Tamso Ma Jyotirgamaya" The school was established in the year 1986 by DAV managing society. It is affiliated to CBSE board and imparts education from Nursery to 12. The school has covered 8 acres of land and is away from the hustle and bustle of the maddening crowd of the city.

It has well-equipped labs for physics, chemistry and biology. It also has a library featuring more than 1000 books, journals, dailies, reviews and magazines. An art and craft room for painting, portrait and craft activities such as tile painting etc., a music room offering different music forms to learn and access to the harmonium, guitar, tabla and many more instruments and a dance room. The school's sports infrastructure includes a basketball court, a volleyball court, a cricket pitch and a 400-meter athletic field. The school is divided into 3 different blocks, pre-primary block, primary block and administrative block. The Pre-primary block is for the classes pre-nursery to UKG, the Primary block is for classes 1 to 8, and the administrative block conducts classes for 9 to 12.

In the primary section, different techniques are taken up by the teachers to make students introduced with hands-on learning, and practice-based learning and the major subjects are social science. The students are made to understand the topics deeply. As they have to study science deeply in the secondary section in three parts physics chemistry and biology and social studies, in 3 parts history, geography and civics.

In the secondary section, the curriculum is based on CCE and Formative and Summative assessment is done according to the CBSE guidelines.
In senior secondary section, a choice of three streams is provided to students science, commerce and humanities.

The school also provides boarding facilities for boys after class 3, and dormitories are provided with everything of their need with comfortable and spacious rooms. The very own faculty of the school offers special classes to the boarders. DAV organizes a national sports events called Hansraj tournament, where the DAV schools from all over the country participate and stay in the school campus.

The school used to be a pain for us when we were young, but as we grew up, we understood that that's the best time to cherish in one's life.

Admission is open to children seeking admission to class Nursery, who are between 2½ years and 3½ years of age as on 1st April, 2020. However, admission shall be based on the admission policy of the school i.e. 'POINT SYSTEM'. Children are to be registered by filling up the registration form online.
