DAV Public School situated at Faridabad was established in 1984. It was started as an equal mix of Anglican and Vedic education. DAV Public School at Faridabad is managed by the D.A.V.College Managing Committee, New Delhi and is the most significant innovative senior-secondary school in the state of Haryana. The English medium co-ed school focuses on the Indian value-based system along with modernistic tropes as well. DAV Public at Sector 14, Faridabad is affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education at New Delhi. Guided by the Principal, Mr Surinder Singh Chaudhary, the faculty at DAV ensures smooth and well-spent graduation of the students with all the required skills to pursue their aspirations.

The school hosts almost more than 5,000 students from class Nursery to class 12. The educational endeavour is to teach within the students, the aspiration to be vigorous learners, vibrant thinkers as well as enthusiastic members of the postmodern globalised world of the 21st century. As a measure for the same, the school offers approximately twenty subjects in these three fields at the senior secondary level - Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce and Humanities. The students are divided into four different houses - Everest, Narmada, Nilgiri and Alaknanda. GENERAL GUIDELINES TO BE FOLLOWED DURING THE ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

• Registration forms should be completed and submitted at the school office along with an attested photocopy of the applicant's birth certificate from Municipal Corporation.
• One recent passport-size photograph of the applicant should be attached on the form positively.

• However, the successful submission of the registration form does not guarantee admission.

• Incomplete/ Incorrect forms will be rejected. No queries will be entertained further.

• The decision of the school's Admission Committee will be final and binding. Do not approach the office with recommendations.

• Parents of the applicant are advised not to fill more than one form for their ward.

• Transport facility is available on prescribed routes only.

• As the seats are limited, 10% of which are reserved for students belonging to EWS category, the admission process focuses on personal interaction as well as academic assessment.

• Please note: No form will be accepted without the Birth Certificate from Municipal Corporation.

• Date and time of the Introductory Session and the Entrance Test will be posted on the website.

• Students are required to appear for the entrance test in their school uniform.
