Banyan International School, Jammu

Banyan International School is situated in Jammu and is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education. It was founded in 2008, and since then it focuses on imparting knowledge to the students. It is co-education school which permit both girls and boys to take admission in the school without any discrimination and every student is treated equally.

The central concept of BIS is to develop self-growth and depth of students and to enhance their critical, analytical, creative and innovative life skills. It is the senior secondary level which has classes from 1st to 12th and offers English as its medium of instruction to the people. It is inbuilt with E-learning concept for all types and has a smart education and learning system. The E-learning concept of each classroom helps make the class interactive and engaging. E-learning caters a practical form of lessons to students because of which it becomes straightforward and convenient for students to learn and grasp knowledge.

The campus is well organised and well equipped with a library full of books, hygienic washrooms, large playground, physics lab, chemistry lab, computer lab, maths lab, biology lab, language lab, art and craft, dance, music, large and spacious classes, highly educated teachers, transportation and many more. The school focuses on sports activities and games as well because it believes that sports activities and other games help individuals to develop their potential and physical fitness. Some of the sports and games include kho-kho, kabaddi, throwball, volleyball, aerobics, yoga, gymnastics, meditation, chess, carom, handball, badminton, table tennis, basketball and many more. It tries its best to provide both indoor games and outdoor games to its students so that they can evolve in a better way.
