Balvantray Mehta Vidya Bhawan, Greater Kailash II is a co-educational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The school was established in 1999 by the People Society Servants (SOPS), founded at Lahore by Lala Lajpat Rai. It was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi in 1921.
Balvantray Mehta Vidya Bhawan aims to fulfil the Lala Lajpat Rai's vision through broad-based training enabling the children to lead a more creative life and in times to come, become useful citizens of the country.

Campus
The 3-acre school campus has a library, labs for physics, chemistry, biology and computers. Other facilities include a music room, infirmary, dance rooms, an indoor games room and a big playground.
Academics
Balvantray Mehta Vidya Bhawan provides an environment that offers security to the children and helps them to develop their physical, mental and social potential to the maximum. For the hearing impaired children, the emphasis is on speech and language development, enabling children to communicate and paves the way for the child's mainstreaming.
For the mentally subnormal children, the emphasis is laid on self-help skills. Selected children are sent for academic integration, and CBSE curriculum is followed with modification to suit the unique needs of the mentally subnormal children.
