The late Smt Suneeta Singh founded the Emerald Heights International school on February 18, 1982. The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and offers English as the medium of instruction. The students of the school have carved a niche in academics and sports. The school offers the students international qualifications.  They also provide its’ students with an opportunity to gain global exposure with its knowledge partners. The goal of the school is to prepare the students to get globally recognized.

The infrastructure of the school offers a library that has a collection of a wide range of around fifty thousand books from across the world, career counselling and guidance centre which has a database about national and international colleges and universities, Chemistry, Biology and a hi-tech Physics laboratory, Mathematics Laboratory that focuses on the practical approach to the theorems and principles of Mathematics, Robotics Laboratory, Computer Laboratories equipped with 300 computers, smart boards and projectors, Language Laboratory which help the students with the process of direct learning, helping students improve upon their pronunciation in English language, Geography Laboratory, Quizzing Laboratory, Etiquette Laboratory, Lecture Halls, Model United Nations Conference and Training Hall, Smart Class and Mini Auditorium.
