The school was established by Lt. Col. Sydney T. on 19 April 1864 and has since functioned as a Christian Anglo-Indian minority institution. This institution is located within the Pune Cantonment.
The school has three branches, with the one in Camp being the primary and oldest, and an all-boys school. The institute has opened two branches within the Kalyani Nagar and Undri areas of Pune.
In the 2012 survey Education World India ranked, the college 1st in Pune, 12th within the state of Maharashtra, and 44th in India. The school has an affiliation to the CISCE Board, New Delhi.
The dormitories
Each hostler gets one steel almirah for himself, which he must keep clean and tidy. Electric irons are provided in each dorm for ironing. Boys learn to iron their clothes, though only in emergencies. Each dormitory has water filters cum water-coolers to verify safe beverage for the boys in any respect times. The boarders have colour telephone equipment with a cable connection in each dorm. They also have a music system with a range of music that they're visiting hear within their free time once they relax within the dorms.
Generator and bore wells
The school features a 24-hour power backup from a 75 KVA generator capable of supplying the campus with power. This facility in Pune doesn't affect the studies of the boys because the generator will return the power when the electricity fails.
Solar power heater
Each dormitory is provided with solar water heaters. Water in the solar heaters stays warm for up to 72 hours; thus helping in the conservation of wattage and ensuring plight to the boys within the slightest degree times.
Fumigated on an everyday BASIS
The campus is fumigated on an everyday basis by pest control professionals. Never-the-less boys are required to bring a screen with them to the dormitories for better protection. The school has 75 well-ventilated classrooms, three science laboratories, two assembly halls, two libraries and a dining room which seats about 250 children.

Screening report of the chest, and any other certificate as requested in the application form.
A transfer certificate from a recognized school (classes two and above)
Admission will only be confirmed on payment of one term's fees. This amount will be credited and adjusted against the first term's bill. The amount is not refundable if a place accepted is later refused.
