Oak Grove School (OGS) was established in 1888 to provide affordable European-style education to the wards of the employees of East India Railway and North Western Railway.

Ranked as one of the best government boarding schools in India, OGS is a green campus spread over 252-acres in Mussoorie Hills at an elevation of 53000 ft. As part of Indian Railways now, OGS aims to provide quality modern education to wards of Indian Railways employees while 25% of seats are reserved for Non-Railways staff at an affordable cost.

OGS is a CBSE-affiliated Senior-secondary school that follows the 10+2 pattern with the options of Science, Commerce and Humanities. The school has beautiful infrastructure consisting of auditorium, study rooms, smart classrooms, assembly hall, library, gymnasium and well-equipped science and language labs with all the basic amenities.

For physical development, the school provides various sports facilities such as Hockey, Cricket, Table-Tennis, basketball, Football, Squash etc. It regularly organizes inter-house and inter-school competitions to raise the standards. It has a hostel facility with 250 beds and an infirmary for students as well.

To keep student indulged in education an Educational tour is organized annually. Co-curricular activities like debate, declamation, quizzes, dramatics, music-art-craft and dance competitions are also organized regularly to encourage students.

Admission forms are filled online in August.

Pen-paper entrance exam is conducted for admission to III (age 7-9 yrs) class followed by interview.

Vaccant seats (if any) are filled later on for senior classes.
