The Laxman Public School (LPS) is a Senior-Secondary School affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It was established in the year 1983 by Late Shri Laxman S Aggarwal. Many critics have lauded the School as one of the premier English-medium schools in North India. It has also been awarded the prestigious, 'International School Award' (ISA) conferred by the British Council for the promotion of internationalism and globalization in its School curriculum. 

The LPS motto is 'Be Yourself'. It encourages its students to be original & not the imitation of someone else. It motivates children to pursue their own dreams and interests. The school tries to impart learning based on the traditional morals and values to the students. This way they can become more responsible Samaritans of our society. It has a house system. The houses are named after Indian values and Hindu rituals - Aradhna, Bhakti, Chetna, Ekta and Gyan.

The curriculum in LPS is multi-faceted and based on ongoing educational research and the best global practices. During the ongoing CoVid-19 pandemic, where the government has prohibited students from going to school, online classes are being conducted by many schools. LPS has gone a step further; it has collaborated with Khan Academy(led by Mr Salman Khan), a world-renowned Online Education platform for its students.

The facilities provided by the LPS are top-notch, the school has a cafeteria which stores and serves food in a very hygienic manner, five open-air theatres, various clubs (like poetry, photography, environment), a library with a plethora of books. For the sports facilities, there are specialized coaches, a cricket ground, a basketball court, a large athletic track, etc. The transport system of LPS comprises of many buses through which students and teachers commute to different parts of the city.

The Alumni of the school are referred to as Laxmanites. They include eminent personalities like- Sriti Jha (Actress), Shubham Jaglan (Golf prodigy and World record holder), Arjuna Harjai (Music Composer and singer), Nishant Malkani (Actor, currently appearing in Bigg Boss 14) etc.
