Dr Jayshree Periwal founded Jayshree Periwal International School in the year 2011 in the pink city of Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is a private school and is a part of Jayashree Periwal Group of Schools. The school is formally known as Step by Step International School. It is a co-educational English medium international day cum boarding school. The school has a spacious campus with 50 acres of the land with an affiliation to IGCSE and IB, international boards. The institution aims at offering quality international education to the students. Over the years, the school has been expanding and now has the student population of 1700. Currently, 15% of the student population receive scholarships from the school. It is a private institution which is accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organization and the University of Cambridge Examinations. They have also received ASCD accreditation. All students at JPIS pursue the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The students take six academic subjects and also study the core curriculum of Theory of Knowledge and Extended Essay.

Jayshree Periwal International School provides infrastructure educational facilities like laboratory, computer labs, arts. Sports facilities include cricket, basketball, volleyball, yoga, judo, swimming, skating and various other indoor games. Other facilities provided by the school are medical facilities, auditorium and transport facility. 

Students are required to meet the following criteria for admission :

A number of factors will be taken in to consideration for admission such as previous school reports and referances, signs of constructive energy related to all aspects of school and proficiency in english.  

A written test of english and mathematics will be followed by an interview. Producing of any false information will lead to the cancellation of admission.
