Guru Har Rai Academy, Kanpur is one of the premier schools in the city. It was founded in 1993 by Sardar Beant Singh. The school follows the adage of “Towards excellence”. The school is a co-educational school. They strive to make a happy place for children to ensure the holistic development of the students.

Music rooms are well equipped, and there’s a religious room Shabad. 

It also hosts a spacious dining hall for comfortable dining which accommodates more than 240 students at one time. The school provides high-class facilities for dancing with trained teachers in Indian, folk, classical and western dance forms. The school hosts two pools—a small pool for the new learners and a big pool for the rest.

The prime concern of the school is hygiene, and the pool is cleaned regularly. The school provides particular timings and coaches for boys and girls. The pool area has a separate and well-equipped shower and changing rooms.

The school hosts several curricular activities which include painting, dancing, music, art and craft. Various competitions are held for sports and curricular activities to enable a healthy environment and a competitive environment so that the students can stand in the outside competitive world.
