Good Shepard International School was founded in February 1977 by Dr P C Thomas and the school follow a rigorous academic programme combined with a plethora of co-curricular and extracurricular activities. GSIS is a Co-Ed senior secondary residential school affiliated with ICSE(Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) and ISC(Indian School Certificate) board. The school ensures that its students have an edge over others to face the challenges in the world and prove to be worthwhile global citizens. At GSIS, it is our earnest endeavour to make our students’ stay in the boarding house ‘a home away from home’, where they are provided not only with a warm and homely ambience, but also with opportunities to enhance creativity and learning.

Students of our fully residential co-educational school reside in 26 boarding houses (8 for girls and 18 for boys) equipped with television and music systems and indoor games facilities like carrom and chess. The school maintains a happy and healthy environment in the boarding houses by creating a balance between academic discipline and relaxation.

Good Shepherd International School boasts of extra-ordinary facilities and 56 well equipped classrooms. The campus also features a golf course and swimming pool amongst many other sport facilities. Each room has a defined storage apt for the entire class. The school has excellent ICT labs where the students have unlimited access to computers and the professional software tools that go with them. It has several state of art multimedia projectors with many accessories which has revolutionized the learning programmes at school.

Not just academic and technological, the school provides adequate infrastructural support for sports with the aesthetically designed basketball courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts and badminton courts that are built in the open space between the buildings to promote outdoor activities.
