2022 G.P. Birla Scholarship

One of India’s most well-known industrialists, the Late Shri G.P. Birla, had a lofty goal for the country’s young people. He had started several scholarship programs to help worthy individuals pay for their graduate education. An approved trust has been established to support education and offer the G.P. Birla Scholarship to help him realize his aspirations. 85% or higher on the WBCHSE or 90% or more on the ISC/CBSE scale, as well as a family income of less than Rs. 3,00,000 per year, are the requirements for the G.P. Birla Scholarship, which is awarded to deserving students from West Bengal, male or female, who have passed class XII and need financial assistance to continue their education.

This award is available to students who earned high honors or completed the 12th-grade board test with at least 80% of the recommended marks from a reputable state or central board. G.P. Birla Scholarship Benefits

Scholarships will be awarded as follows to those chosen:

• Rs.50,000 in annual tuition and hostel costs per student.
• Seven thousand rupees for books in the first year.

Selection Method

An Expert Panel, which comprises Prof. Sumanta Basu of the Indian Institute of Management in Bengal and Dr. Rajib Das from Jadavpur University in Kolkata, will assess the applications received and interview potential applicants. The Expert Panel’s choice shall be final. Future national leaders will benefit from the G.P. Birla Educational Foundation’s financial support.

Online Scholarship Application for G.P. Birla

For students, the G.P. Birla Foundation has begun the online application procedure. The online page is where eligible students may submit their applications for the G.P. Birla Scholarship 2022. For online application, refer to the steps below for the G.P. Birla Scholarship program.

You must scan the necessary papers before beginning the online application and submit these documents when completing the online application.

2. Click on the application link after choosing the Online Application method.

3. fill out the online application with all of your information.

4. Upload the necessary scanned files.

5. Submit your Application Form.

6. Following the submission of the application, a unique application number will be produced and stored for future use.

7. Until the last date of receipt of the application, the student may alter any information in the submitted application by logging in at “existing applicant’s login here.”

Application for the G.P. Birla Scholarship, offline

Students can also apply for the G.P. Birla Scholarship program offline. You can apply by emailing the needed papers and the prescribed application form.

1. Print out the G.P. Birla Scholarship Application Form after downloading it.

2. Carefully complete the application form and attach or paste a passport-size color photo on it.

3. Include copies of the necessary paperwork with the application form.

4. Send it to this address through courier or quick post no later than the application deadline.

For the G.P. Birla Scholarship 2022–2023, who may apply?

The Trust solely helps students who are struggling financially and require a scholarship. So. The Birla Trust has established eligibility requirements for the G.P. Birla Scholarship 2022 to prevent the Scholarship from falling into the wrong hands. The following are the main criteria for eligibility for the Scholarship.

• The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
• A minimum annual family income of Rs. 3 lakh is required.
• If applying to the State Board, the candidate must have 80% in their 12th-grade class; for CBSE students, 85% is the minimum need.
• Students must be enrolled in a recognized Indian university or institution’s arts, science, medicine, engineering, architecture, law, or professional programs like company secretaryship, cost accounting, and Chartered Accountancy.

How to view the 2022–2023 G.P. Birla Scholarship Results?

By accessing the official website, all applicants for the Scholarship can view the results. Following the instructions, students may view the G.P. Birla Scholarship Result 2022.

• To apply, go to https://www.gpbirlaedufoundation.com/, the G.P. Birla Educational Foundation Trust’s official website.
• Now click on the Home Page result that appears.
• Select the link for Result 2022.
• Type in the application number and birthdate.
• Then click the Result.
• One may view the Result on the screen.

Significant Dates

The registration period will begin the day after the results of the 12th grade are announced.

The applicants must download, fill out, and return the applications by October 31, 2022.

The 2022–2022 G.P. Birla Scholarship results will be released soon.

No more registrations will be accepted beyond the deadline.

Note: The Scholarship will be awarded to students for one year at a time, with the possibility of renewal based on the student’s good performance in the year prior, as determined by the Trust, for a maximum of four years.

The Aditya Birla Scholarships, established in 1999, give Scholars a great chance to network with the nation’s first genuinely international corporation. Although there is no need to continue working with the Group once their term is over, scholars are welcome to do so if they are qualified.

Scholarship package:

The Aditya Birla Scholarships cover a significant portion of the tuition for the management and law streams, as well as the hostel expenses for students enrolled in IITs or BITS.

•  For IIT/BITS (Pilani)  is Rs. 100,000 a year.

Eligibility

The scholarships are open to pupils  from the following institutions :

• Ahmedabad,  Lucknow, Indore, Bangalore, Kolkata, Kozhikode, and Shillong all have IIMs.
• Jamshedpur XLRI
• Mumbai, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Delhi, Chennai, Roorkee, and Guwahati are IITs (B.Tech)
• BITS Campuses in Pilani
• Delhi’s Faculty of Management Studies (FMS)
• LAW: The W.B. National University of Juridical Sciences in Kolkata, the National Law University in Jodhpur, the Gujarat National Law University, the National Law School of India University in Bangalore, and the NALSAR University of Law in Hyderabad.

The Dean of the relevant Institutes will invite the top 20 students (based on their entrance exam rating at the time of admission) to apply.

Application Process: Students who meet the requirements must complete the form and submit it to the Dean.

Selection Method:

The following procedure is required for the Scholarships:

• The application form will evaluate the candidates, including 160 students from the IITs and BITS (Pilani), 180 students from the IIMs and XLRI, and 100 from law colleges.
• To decide who advances to the next phase, the student’s total achievements—which include both academic and extracurricular excellence—will be evaluated.
• A panel will then evaluate these pupils’ essays to narrow down the field of applicants for the next stage.
• The top 16 students from engineering, business, and law, together with eight other students, will be chosen for an interview to decide on the Aditya Birla Scholars.

An esteemed panel of scholars and notables will conduct the interviews. Students who have been shortlisted should bring all necessary documentation, including copies of their diplomas and transcripts.

The selected candidates will be provided with lodging, travel reimbursement, and a token allowance for the interviews, which will take place in Mumbai.

Please take note that:

• The Scholars’ performance will be rigorously examined each year to determine whether to continue the Scholarship.
• The deans and directors of the IIM, XLRI, IIT, BITS (Pilani), FMS, and law campuses have agreed to manage the funds. The scholarship money will be delivered directly to their workplace.
• Subject to continued success, the Scholarships are suitable for the whole course. The Institute will return the money paid because the Scholarship was only announced in September, and students would have already paid their tuition.

The performance standards for determining whether to renew the Scholarship

The Aditya Birla Scholar’s excellence in academics and leadership will be judged using qualitative and quantitative criteria. This evaluation will decide whether the scholarship award and the honor of remaining “The Aditya Birla Scholar” will continue.

• Until the course is through, an annual evaluation will be conducted.
• The Evaluation Criteria: Evaluation of the satisfaction of specific academic requirements
• should fall inside the top 25% of the batch
• Evaluation of the Scholar’s work produced throughout the program
• At least 60% of the tasks must receive a 7 out of 9.
• Evaluation of involvement in at least two campus forums
• Assessment of the Scholar’s Learnings
• An essay of 250 words on “Being an Aditya Birla Scholar – experience sharing.”
• The Scholar must provide this information for the performance measurement, and the academic Dean at the Institute must certify it. The evaluation will be based on the overall effectiveness across all domains. There won’t be a single primary determinant.

Aditya Birla Capital COVID Scholarship Program 2022

Aditya Birla Capital Foundation, a non-profit organization, involved in CSR initiatives of Aditya Birla Capital Limited and its subsidiaries, is the organization behind the Aditya Birla Capital COVID Scholarship Program. With the help of this program, kids who have lost a parent due to COVID-19 can continue their education while still receiving financial aid. Students enrolled in undergraduate courses and Classes 1 through 12 will be eligible to receive a scholarship worth up to INR 60,000 (one time) under this scholarship program to cover their academic costs and other value-added services like Mental Wellness Coaching, Career Counseling, and Life Skills sessions.

A total of 780 students from the school level and 477 from the college level are chosen for the Scholarship.

Students in classes one through eight receive INR 24000.

R.D. Birla Scholarship

The R.D. Birla Scholarship is intended to cultivate young minds and give children in grades 1 through 10 access to a decent education. This Scholarship is awarded through the R. D. M.P. Birla Group released the Priyamvada Birla Scholarship 2022 official announcement.

For the Priyamvada Birla scholarship 2022, students enrolled in undergraduate programs in colleges and institutions in West Bengal may apply online. This award is given to deserving students from low-income families on a merit-plus-means basis.

 Details of the current course

The Priyamvada Birla Scholarship 2022 is open to students who entered a West Bengal college in the degree program’s first year(Graduation) in the general disciplines (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, etc.), professional courses (BBA, BCA, LLB, etc.), engineering (BE, B.Tech), or medicine (MBBS, BDS). For this award, only first-year U.G. students are eligible to apply.

Eligibility

Family’s annual income

Students can only apply if their family’s combined annual income is $75,000 or less. In addition, students with a BPL Card must send a copy of the card along with their application.

Maximum Age

As of July 4, 2022, the applicant’s age shall not exceed 25. Therefore, the age requirement for this Scholarship is not lower.

Merit Standards

The Higher Secondary (10 + 2) Examinations from any State Board/Council, CBSE, ISC, or I.B. is required of applicants.

Extra criteria

It is anticipated that none of the candidates are currently employed by any external organization.

However, assignments from the institution and internships for compensated projects are not seen as employment in the eyes of candidates.

Scholarship amount

Students who qualify for the Priyamvada Birla Scholarship program will receive up to Rs.24,000 yearly for their tuition and housing costs.

Candidates will get their scholarship money till their course is through (maximum of four years).

It is contingent upon the student passing all semesters/years in a single try and attaining the required grade point average (CGPA) for each semester/year.

Applying procedure

First Year / Semester Students of the Eligible Courses may apply for the Priyamvada Birla Scholarship 2022 after completing the H.S. exams. The application process is currently done online. To apply, adhere to the instructions.

Application and  Eligibility for Scholarship Renewal

The Priyamvada Birla Scholarship is awarded to students each year until the end of their course. For a renewal scholarship, there are various requirements. The minimum passing grade for candidates in General/Professional courses is 45%; for Technology/Medicine courses, the minimum passing grade is 55%; for both, a CGPA of 6.0 is required.

Additionally, it is anticipated that the student will advance the following year or semester. Before applying for the scholarship renewal, the student must notify the Trust of any changes to their stream or course.

 For Priyamvada Birla Scholarship renewal applications, a separate form is provided. The beneficiary must send an application and include a request to get this renewal application form from the Board of Trustees of the Madhav Prasad Birla Apex Charitable Trust at South Point High School, 82/7A, Ballygunge Place, Kolkata 700019.

The following papers must be sent with the student’s renewal application letter.

1. Evidence of receiving the Scholarship the previous year.

2. Results for the current semester or year, as fully certified by the HOD.

3. The institution’s director’s recommendation.

Twenty days after the qualifying test results are announced, the application must be delivered to the location mentioned above.
