No one will deny that the phrase “he who possesses the information possesses the world” is more relevant than ever today. Education is the key to future achievements in every person’s life. Nowadays, with the development of technology, it provides us with even greater opportunities. The World Wide Web has a wealth of useful sources — from encyclopedias, educational platforms, online libraries and courses to online writing services where students can find college essays for sale. Educational platforms are particularly relevant during the current COVID-19 pandemic when distance learning remains the only opportunity to study. We have decided to simplify your life and have collected online resources with unique educational content for different ages.

Academic Earth

This website has collected lectures from the best universities in the world, particularly MIT, Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, Yale, on art history, business, chemistry, management, sociology, etc. The main condition is the knowledge of English. At Academic Earth, you can take an online Bachelor’s or Master’s course. You will not receive an official paper or certificate but will obtain priceless knowledge. It offers disciplines from the theory of games to a series of lectures on space biology and space exploration.

Edx

Just like Academic Earth, EdX has lectures from the world’s leading educational establishments. It is quite easy to find a course of your choice. Thus, you can study architecture, ethics, law, music, design, economics, and finance.

University of the People

You need to demonstrate your knowledge of English and have a good secondary education to become a student at this university. UoPeople is a free university, but students will still have to pay for exams at the end of each course. Its cost depends on the student’s residence, although you can also try to get a grant for completely free education.

TED

TED is a widely-known conference that began in 1984, where scientists, entrepreneurs, artists, musicians, engineers, and many others gather and share their ideas on topics ranging from psychology and communication to gender discrimination and autism. Almost all videos can be found with subtitles in different languages.

Coursera

Only the lazy haven’t heard of this project, collaborating with many universities around the world that publish courses in various fields of knowledge — from medicine and database to Chinese and Arabic. Students not only take classes but also communicate with fellow students, take tests and exams directly on the Coursera website.

Khan Academy

Here you can find a wide base of video classes in more than 20 languages. Courses are divided into separate lessons with the possibility to watch each video, no matter which course you choose. The main focus of this resource is on video as a method of providing information.

The Open University

All materials here are divided by age and thematic groups, the lecture material can be downloaded from the website to your computer, and the topics of the offered courses are quite broad: mathematics, statistics, criminology, sociology, culture, media, and so on.

Udemy

The goal of Udemy is to become an online learning platform where you can learn almost anything. There are over 100,000 courses today. Some trainers teach professional skills, while others focus on different hobbies (in case you have ever wanted to learn how to play computer games, Udemy is the right place for you). Prices vary and range from free courses to those worth over a thousand dollars.

Fiverr Learn

Fiverr Learn is designed more for freelancers. Currently, there are only 11 courses on digital marketing that focus on key skills in the profession, such as social media advertising, content strategy, and analytics. As for the courses in the direction of “creativity”, there are several additional courses, and there are 17 in total.

Skillshare

SkillShare is a platform created for online training of creative people. The main categories of courses it offers are art, design, entrepreneurship, lifestyle, technology, and much more. Courses are in English and have no subtitles. The author writes an assignment for each of the classes, which you can do based on what you have seen. Although it is difficult to call them courses, they are more like an hour and a half video workshops on any topic. The videos are broken down into parts, about 10 minutes each. Everyone has an introductory video, on which, as a rule, it is clear whether or not to watch the course.
