Ashok Hall Girls’ Residential School, Ranikhet is one of the best schools in Uttarakhand.  The school is a girl’s residential school and was founded in 1993 by Dr Sarala Birla. The school is spread in 25 acres of magnificent Kumaon hills. School offers a residential facility for girls of class 4 to 12. The school also holds many achievements like it is ISO and ISO: 9001:2000 certified.  It is affiliated to the Indian School of Certificate Examinations. ISC board for class 10 and ICSE board for class 12.  Ashoka Hall Girls’ School is also a part of very reputed Indian Public Schools’ conference. The school is sited on a 25-acre campus, settled in the lap of Himalayas, close to a small town of Ranikhet, Uttarakhand. Classrooms are well-designed and well-equipped, spacious and ventilated. The library features a great collection of books which are accessible to students—well-equipped labs for physics, chemistry and biology with a playground for sports. Sports activities include roller-skating, basketball, hockey, cricket, tennis, golf, volleyball and horse riding. Social service activities are also undertaken.

Admission Criteria

Registration forms are available along with the prospectus. Registration usually commences in December. Applicants are required to write an admission test, the date of which is intimated at the time of registration. Selected candidates must provide transfer certificates from the school last attended at the time of admission.

Admission starts from class IV and admission to higher classes is subject to vacancies. Admission to class XI is provisional until the declaration of the class X Board results.
