St. Joseph's Convent Senior Secondary Girls School was established in the year 1956 by Mother Ignatius. The school managed by the Congregation of Sisters of St. Joseph of Chambery, province of Panchmarhi, India. 

Apart from academics, the institution also encourages its students to prepare in local, state and national level competitions to broaden horizons and equip them with an international outlook and global vision. The school creates an atmosphere that is free of all limitations, prejudices and distinctions. 

The vision of the school is the spirituality of communion for human excellence. It has its goal for holistic education for human excellence. The student studying at St. Joseph's must know her motto, the meaning of school emblem and be worthy of it.  

The school endeavours to give all-round education liberally, technically, physically, morally, spiritually, primarily to Catholics, but the school doesn't discriminate the students of other communities. 

Admission is granted to the students depends upon the vacancy of the seats and the performance at the entrance test conducted by the school. 

Admission to class XIth would depend on the commendable performance in the Xth board, and the previous made thereof. 

Students fro local schools are not considered for admission.
