Mody school, Sikar

Established in 1989 by Rajendra Prasad Mody, Mody School is an all-girls English medium residential school which offers schooling from class 3rd through 12th. The school boasts a 265-acre eco-friendly campus and imparts learning with Indian values, emphasising the student's holistic development.

Affiliated with the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) board, New Delhi and the International Baccalaureate Organization, Geneva, the school offers the best-in-class facilities to its students with spacious classrooms well-resourced library.

The school has disbursed Rs. 4 lakh to needy girl students from nearby by villages. The school has also paid Rs. 15 lakh to underprivileged students who cannot afford the fee. It is also a member of Help Age India, Indian Development Foundation and Rotary Club.

Campus

The 265 acre Mody School campus has 30 smart classrooms equipped with ICT learning and wi-fi connectivity. The school hosts separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Home Science, Biotech, Mathematics, Geography, Computer and Art and Craft. 

The library has access to 70 magazines and journals, 11,500 books, online database, CDs and softcopies.

The canteen serves light refreshment, ice creams, beverages, Chinese cuisine and Indian Continental.

Medical care is available 24 hours on the premises in two qualified resident lady doctors assisted by skilled and trained female nursing staff.

Mody School has an affiliation with CBSE, New Delhi, IBO Geneva and CIE, UK. The institution boasts 1000 students on roll with 80 qualified teachers and maintains 1:12 teacher-student ratio to ensure individual attention.

The CBSE curriculum is from class 3rd to class 12th, Cambridge IGCSE curriculum from class 3rd to class 10th and IB Diploma Programme for classes 11th and 12th.

Age Criteria

Admission to class 3rdis six years on the first of April of joining the school and calculated accordingly for higher classes.

Process

• Admission tests followed by an interview are conducted on the campus and a few select centres in India and abroad.
• Selection of students for admission is based on a General Aptitude Test (GAT) in English and Mathematics based on the CBSE's general standards, which is followed by an interview.
• Parents must accompany the child seeking admission.

Documents Required 

• For admission to class 3rd to 5th, proof of birth date from the municipality or any other authorized body.
• For admission to class 6th to 12th, Transfer Certificate issued by recognized schools. If transfer from another state or board, it should be duly countersigned by the local District Education Officer or from schools' Inspector.
• Photocopy of the visa and passport, for foreign nationals.
• A medical certificate from a qualified medical practitioner.
