Convent Girls’ High School was established in the year 1911 and is affiliated to the SSC board. Though it is run by the Franciscan Hospitaller Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, the school also admits non-catholic students. It is considered one of the amongst the best girls' school in the area and aims to impart quality education to the students. CGHS students have shown exemplary performance in the SSC board examinations by getting amazing results. The school has spacious infrastructure with facilities like laboratory, computer, chapel, sports and other recreational facilities.
