Carmel Convent Girls Senior Sec School is located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India and was established by the Sisters of the Congregation of Mother of Carmel (C.M.C.) in 1968. The total formation of the human persona has always been the highest priority within the educational endeavours of C.M.C. 

The school has an affiliation to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi since April 1994. It is being managed by the Carmel Convent Education Society.

The circle signifies the universe and the open book stands for knowledge, which is to be imparted to all. The lamp is for the enlightenment of mind to be radiated to millions still darkly.

The cross behind stands for suffering and also as a victory. It reminds us that it's only in giving that we receive. For us, the cross is the symbol of salvation. The death of Christ brought salvation to humanity. Christ loved man such a lot that he gave himself up for death on a cross which brought salvation to humanity. Without suffering, man doesn't humanize himself or liberate himself from bondage and fulfil his spiritual aspirations.
